Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, Hacker Cabin pledges to make participation in our community a positive experience for everyone.

Community Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

• Using welcoming and inclusive language
• Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
• Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
• Focusing on what is best for the community
• Showing empathy towards other community members
• Sharing knowledge and supporting other makers

Overview of examples of behavior that does not contribute to creating a positive environment:

• At Hacker Cabin we are geared towards sharing what we are working on openly. This is absolutely fine and encouraged. However, excessive self-promotion without community participation or giving back in any way is not cool and may be removed if reported.
• Conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting is not allowed.

Membership & Payments

Hacker Cabin uses Stripe to process all payments. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

By joining Hacker Cabin, you agree to the membership fee outlined on our website. Prices are subject to change, but existing members will be notified before any price changes take effect.

Cancellation Policy

Members can leave Hacker Cabin at any time with no pressure and no questions asked. You can cancel your membership through your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us.

Due to the nature of community forums and discussions, it is not possible to delete all historical data when you leave. Your contributions to discussions will remain, but your personal account information will be removed from active use.

Content Usage & Ownership

By posting content in the Hacker Cabin community, you retain ownership of your intellectual property rights, but you grant Hacker Cabin a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content within the community context.

You may not post content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights or violates any laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hacker Cabin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

We provide no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of content shared by other community members.

Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Changes to these Terms are effective when they are posted on this page.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
